John Smale are pleased to be part of Steptober, the property industry wide step challenge with over 500 property professionals stepping to end youth homelessness throughout the month of October.
Teams from across the industry are competing with each other to see who can log the most steps to end youth homelessness - last year, participants logged enough steps to walk around the world three and a half times, but this year we know you can make it to four laps.
We are competing against teams across the country but also within our own office.
Steptober is also a great way to encourage wellbeing in the workplace - the challenge gives people the motivation to take a walk at lunch time, walk up escalators or take the stairs instead of the lift. Being active not only improves physical health, but also improves mental wellbeing and ultimately makes us more productive and happy.
